A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.
没想到养鱼cp有二搭，而且是跨年夜唯一上映的爱情电影，从片名到演员到剧情可谓是仪式感拉满！杨玏的新造型少年小生感满满，毛晓彤也是一如既往的活力十足青春动人。傅首尔的惊喜加盟更可谓是点睛之笔～从party相遇到一见钟情到柴米油盐的生活琐碎，城市快节奏的生活压力和青年人对感情爱情的追求，无一不让我感同身受，面包和爱情的难题谁又能逃得过？爱情这杯醉人的酒啊，还得过来人品品。正所谓所爱隔山海，山海皆可平，就是如此吧。
太尬了。我边看边吐槽，这不符合逻辑啊。这不符合人物性格啊。这对切镜头太过了，往两边旁移一点啊
盲人可以自理就已经够牛逼了，超出这个范围的请改拍武侠片
没有期待来说其实挺好的 结尾悬浮而已 前面还是挺甜的
坏人嚣张耍酷，安志杰始终面无表情，有几组长镜头还是不错的

“黎志/柠萌宇宙”熟人大串联，酒店莫名争吵的男女客人是薇薇安和丁冠森，匆匆露面的晏紫东，中介董思怡...种种更像电视剧的售后加料了，韭味十足；创作想法也就如此，又何谈能有多少惊喜。无比期望“内娱美强惨领头军”（之一）毛晓彤能够发展得更好，只可惜十级滤镜还是在PPT般的流水剧情败下阵来。将小荧幕的化学反应转嫁到要在更短时间完成吸引的大银幕上无比考验，《欲望都市》、《黑道家族》、《明星伙伴》等等都曾滑铁卢，更何况仅是一部评价普普的肥皂剧。“钟晓芹”与“陈屿”的故事就留在那里，这里就当没有发生吧。
跨年特供片，重要的是和你看的人，剧情啥的不用深究也不能深究

看完全剧觉得一开始的剧情男主也不算背锅，他要是不带队冲进去，他的队友不用死，女主夫妇全身而退，那个组织说不定早被这两公婆拆了，男主女儿也就不会被抓进去了。。除了男主父女、下属这三人其他真是全员恶人。。
真不敢相信有人说那个女的演技好，看的我一身疙瘩，尴尬出来的，是怎么把这个营销的那么好的？
打戏干净利落，没有拖沓的感情戏，合格的动作片
很俗套的一部爱情电影，唯一能看的就是男女主cp了，当然青岛大姨也行
无聊到爆炸的片子，要不是老婆想看，我就走了，浪费时间
打斗场面很多，当一个无脑的打剧来看很精彩，故事结局有点老套，救女儿撑不起剧情。
动作戏挺好的，进入法庭那里一镜到底很好看。其他可以吐槽的点太多了。香港动作片什么时候能重振雄风？
身为爱情类型片的资深影迷，国产爱情电影阅片量300+，同时也是“养鱼cp”的忠实观众，可故事并没有突破30鹅以……
冲着养鱼CP来的，恰好又是在跨年夜上映，应该是最有氛围感的跨年电影了吧。影片真实得有些戳心，展现爱情的美好，也不回避其中的问题。相爱容易相处难，我们总一厢情愿地用自己的方式去爱对方，却忘了想一想对方真正需要的究竟是什么。好像杨玏和毛晓彤的荧幕CP往往都是这般真实而有温度，是你，是我，是我们身边最熟悉的人。在这个跨年夜，这部影片出现得恰到好处，告诉你如何成长为更好的自己，如何经营爱。
一开始的甜蜜看着还行来着，后面的矛盾升起就让人开始无语了，这就是为了演一段幼稚的不作不死的爱情故事吗？拍这么狗血的片子干嘛。。
