The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 每个个体的困境依旧，但对痛苦的共同感知造就了鲜活的、善良的、沟通着的世界。
2001至2021，世界变了又好像没变。先不说这样的美式主旋律正能量和国内作品的立意高下问题，100分钟的舞台演绎中，完全打破了传统音乐剧的情节和幕次、空间与场景、台词与唱段的界限，让技术完全为艺术表达服务，就很赞！
明明网易云听了好几遍才来看的音乐剧，还是一开场就泪目。想起来地震后的很多，人与人之间的相互关爱，是世界上最美好的事。
转场令人映像深刻，但是可能事件太遥远，没办法引起共鸣
去年初在现场看的时候就又哭又笑的，正值9·11二十周年，官摄上线，重温一遍我又是暴风哭泣。 这是一部相当优秀的群像剧，演员没有什么短板，剧情张弛有度，配乐和配器也很有意思。这群陌生人的相遇，虽说是因为一场改变了世界的悲剧，但却开出了善良温情的花。🥺
看到久违的完美剧目的兴奋和故事本身带来的感动都无以言表。在这个故事里，灾难、恐惧、紧张、偏见与神性、真诚、忘我、励志交织在密集(而好听)的台词与迅速转换的场景、人物里，代入感无比强。天花板级别的卡司用精湛技艺同时塑造至少两个人物(In and Out两方，这应该是特别设计的)，这是我这个非剧迷之前没有见识过的，叹为观止。
