The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 也许正是因为美国盛行的脱口秀节目文化，才催生了此类影视作品。将近年发生的各种魔幻现实，哈哈镜式地放大、戏仿、嘲讽，紧跟热点看得开心又解气。但影片整体表现手法过于单一，不过用同一个套路罗列社会事件罢了。想起刘别谦的喜剧也是充满情色意味的同时毫不留情地讽刺政治，但在结构上却是笑点不断相乘的螺旋式效果，以至于让人回味无穷，而不仅只是一幕幕的情景剧。
无奈到只能用低级趣味对抗魔幻现实了么。做作的讽刺 夸张的表演 作为脱口秀视频插播效果也许不错 兴师动众拍一部电影大可不必。用舞台上的脸谱代表所有人的生活 意淫带着所有人一起毁灭 典型的好莱坞式自以为是。
真要来了，很有可能就这么娱乐至死。但电影还是有点太塑料了。
首先，这不是个喜剧，这是个悲剧。这出悲剧之外更悲的是，以为看透一切的好莱坞，把矛头仅仅指向某届administration，而不是当下整体的人类状态。

1.将针砭时弊放进了讽刺喜剧当中，看似夸张、荒诞，却又处处令人有其现实的熟悉感；2.就其影片元素而言，感觉挺少见的，非超人类的科幻+非搞怪的讽刺喜剧，独具一格的故事；3.在世界末日来临时，有相爱的人在身边，幸哉。
看得我对自己懒惰麻木的本性开始自省，不说地球，就说这世界上每一个沉沦和结束前，都是这般的结构组成，警醒者，上岸者，牺牲者和我们。

感觉就是借彗星事件直黑米国新冠，老李吹哨人，大魔王女海王，梅姨干脆演了个川普跟希拉里的合体，哈哈
为啥这个电影里的人叫别人严肃一点，自己却一点啊不严肃
这部讽刺喜剧挺有意思的，虽然不是很好笑反而很可气，但毛骨悚然的是，有些地方是可以当成纪录片来看的。
非常喜欢，完全是跟当年《世界末日》那样的英雄主义大片反着来，充满对当下世界精彩而深刻的讽刺，到最后两位科学家主角的内心独白一定是：“毁灭吧，赶紧的，累了。”
耐飞独家发行的电影至今为止的NO.1。留得下来的杰作。
五星制作！Don't Look Up甚至不能简单的归类到喜剧科幻电影，在我看来它更像是一部社会实验电影，一部彻彻底底的科幻惊悚片，当我们站在上帝视角去审视这一切时，隔岸观火的看客才会觉得或搞笑，或荒诞，捧腹之余不免后怕，如果真如电影中所呈现的那样，人类的命运将如何？多半也不会是什么好结果，行星杀手在资本家和政客眼里变成了数不尽的美钞，沦为实现政治利益的工具，现实又会好到哪去？想到如此，不禁打了一个冷颤，这个世界，比电影荒诞！

这是最近能吸引我一直看完还觉得不错的 比电影更荒诞的是现实 里面有太多梗 值得四星 但觉得讽刺是讽刺就是不够深刻 后来又转念一想 现实不就跟影片里一样吗 在美国严肃的问题已经没法被严肃对待了 不娱乐化一下谁理你啊 像大表姐小李子那样撕心例肺想要唤醒大众 结果却落得被当成笑话一样对待 反而是a妹在那儿编首歌才能引起更多关注 当然这电影也不够娱乐搞笑 所以没能在美国掀起多大波澜？看的时候感觉很唏嘘 西方尤其灯塔国这两年咋变成这德行了呢 在想还好这世界上最起码有中国 不然人类真玩完了 国内再咋不好 最起码小命能保住吧 大家也有努力对抗疫情 而国外奥密克戎让美国再破新增记录 人们却还在跨年聚集狂欢 真打破脑袋都无法理解 对影片中男女主那种无能为力感同身受了 想起一句歌词太恰当 真是“清醒的人最荒唐”
3、最喜欢国防部长卖零食，还很认真的算了算折合人民币。
既没有走向杜蒙也没有走向拉斯冯提尔，反而走向了周六夜现场。当我觉得麦凯完全可以更加尖锐一些的时候，背后的焦虑已经将人淹没，人们面对末日可以做些什么，麦凯告诉你除了蠢事之外什么都做不了，在严肃语境缺失的当下将小品拼接在一起是否本身就是娱乐至死洪流中的一支呢？所有那些似曾相识的能在现实中找到映射的桥段需要反省的不止是影片所发生的地方，一部让人完全无法笑出来的喜剧，或许很多年之后再回头看这部戏会重新定义它。一众卡司之中，印象最深的除了J.Law之外居然是A妹，好笑也是她，那段现场倒是放全了啊。
宇航员坐着飞船去炸陨石 我在想如果是王力宏 他这一航可以直接洗白所有罪名了哈哈哈哈 然后看着飞船掉头这 我拍案叫绝 不管其他 首先这个剧本是真的精彩至极。前面看到那些美国官员、一心娱乐的主持人和唯利是图企业家的丑恶嘴脸我真希望这个陨石可以选择性撞击撞死这些渣渣 还甚至害怕了好一会儿这危机真被解决了咋办 当然 那些简单明了不含糊的讽刺是这电影的关键 美国总统一切只为了选票企业只为了金钱媒体人只需要热度 看懂这些“黑”之后就会明白这陨石肯定会撞下来了 于是作为中国人就有种神清气爽的感觉。最后的聚餐看得人很难过 不过我想因为有爱 他们并不惧怕死亡 反倒是那些苟活下来的有钱人 他们没死 大概就是因为一下子死去的痛快他们不配拥有 他们会在新世界里被折磨至死！PS Leo演得是真好 大表姐造型不好看
