The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 我真不敢相信比第一部还要差，有这么好的三维动画制作，看起来像是一个个短片片段凑起来的电影，第二部的剧情可以直接说没有了，这种科学家反串当假父亲的套路全球电影都用了多少次，新角色毛球就走个过场，这么敷衍的电影放在付费点播平台难免会让许多人感觉被骗了。
改个分 三星给中途突然出现的ace of spades！！！

仔细想想我还是挺喜欢这个剧情的。选题很有意思，结尾时候还有点小感动。这段经历，让女主获得了 second chance。“It doesn't matter how you get to the finish line. Just as long as you get there.”
一分给黄政民的演技一分给里面致敬了几个新世界的梗 我觉得韩国和中国真别互相翻拍了都水土不服的拉跨

比第一部好看，顺便被勒什圈粉，这高挑瘦削忧郁大男孩居然还会唱歌弹琴。更有趣的是，这部是真的有恐怖成分，也向好几部经典恐怖片致了个敬。

暗黑版欢乐一家亲，我还挺喜欢这个故事的画风与人设设定的，都说幼齿，我倒觉得消散时间一家人坐着看看挺美好的，关注家庭成员的内心深处，亲情是不变的核心，能抵得过任何怪兽。
有够无聊的，而且还特别难看，基本上看不下去。一星半。

大概看了10来分钟就受不了来，这哪还有啥哥特味？就像你点了酸辣粉给你上了杨枝甘露，赶紧关了看两集重口的黑袍纠察队.劣迹解解腻。。
前半部改编的很好，后半部分改的可能符合韩国，但略不符合我的预期。
花两个小时才能看到“电影”，表演、节奏、配乐都在线，人物塑造也很成功，配角也都挺出彩，以及从写邮件客诉到向FBI报案，到法庭出席，最后给到邮政局案件处理页面的特写，可以感受到美国真的是一个有很多paperwork的国家，也是蛮有趣的。除此之外，还想起之前在台湾的时候，每年下半年就会到院线狂看美国电影的经历，因为疫情影响，最近这两年进电影院的次数也是屈指可数了
冲着黄政民去的，这部翻拍《解救吾先生》的韩国电影，怎么说呢，当中有些情节太拖沓！快进了几次！最关键的是韩国警察太无能，枪也舍不得开！反正瞎看看，黄政民演技没话说，喜欢看
