男人娶了个有骨气的妻子，女人嫁了个有骨气的丈夫，最后她也没有放弃他，而他也真的为她盖了房子……表面上杰伊比姆是这个电影的主角，但更让人内心汹涌的是女主，她没有任何背景可以支持自己去对抗权威，但她却没有害怕，也没有受诱惑，无数个节点她都可能放弃而撤诉，但她没有。正因为她，这个案件得以存在，让我们看到了人性最原始却也最耀眼的光辉。

《误杀瞒天记》为家庭而战，《剑客卡南》为农村而战，本片《万岁毕姆》为底层而战。由此，有没有良心，成为划分电影创作者的准绳。
真实依托民主制度（哪怕是像印度这样在一些人眼中如此“”劣质“）和独立的司法压倒了电影技艺。
士大夫在黑暗的现实中，发出了：“学问无错，错的是用他的人”的呼声，并用宗教思维重新设想了未来，对无王的世界进行了畅想（可以理解为对人权的理解吧）。
“白鹤奋飞虽好，如兹山满身污泥，仍能自由自在何尝没有意义。”
好故事更有好视角，历史类佳片，不过韩式表演风格差评。后来昌大还没娶青梅竹马，娶了高官的女儿还带回了岛上？
位居高堂也好，混迹市井也好，社会要进步，文化要传承，需要各种人，需要很多人。 什么时候我们的电影能拍出来这种水平呢，大学中庸，汉字书法，这样下去真的成了棒子的了。

他说学那些儒家至圣的文学思想让他接受了西方思想，但是推崇儒学的国家却接受不了一个渺小的自己。 那些读了很多书的人到头来做了一个不为人民的官，真不知道要这些官干什么。 能听见海螺声音的人，是那些本来就听得见海螺声音的人。
虽然讲的是传统士大夫，但早已超越了传统的学术和学问，而具有强烈的现代意识。关键是这么深沉的思考，竟然看起来十分轻松。
罪恶的种姓制度，竟然在现代世界仍然存在，悲哀。印度共产党有出镜，看来是少数的追求种姓平权的党派。

“之前我学了性理学，老子、庄子、西学统统都学，就是想知道人要何去何从。可我所领悟的居然没这小子对鱼的了解多，所以我不研究善变难懂的人类，要转去研究通透明净的事物，用事物来忘却我。”
二小时四十分钟的长度是印度电影的常态，影院会中间休息一次，片子歌声、舞蹈不断，使观众尽兴。本片确是表现了一个很严肃的主题：低种姓部落人群为腐败的官僚警察体系迫害问题。时至今日，印度民间也没有彻底摒弃残忍的种姓制度。尽管法律中没有种姓规定，更明令禁止种姓的不公平对待，但蒙冤的「不可接触者」还是大有人在。本片直面这一残酷的现实，令人感动。低种族演员们的群像写得、演得非常到位，值得夸赞！虽然正面律师过于“伟光正”，但也是满足了观众、社会呼唤正义、除恶的心声。
题材本身的社会属性远远大于电影本身，能有强大的社会思考，但是于电影而言，只是一部成步堂龙一的逆转爽片
