The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 蜡笔小新终于有蜡笔了。最后的全员呼喊奔走，在全城涂鸦还是有些燃的，三个新角色的分别也有泪点。但我不能接受的是，入侵的罪犯竟然被原谅，“你也是为了王国才会这样做的吧”，日本人对入侵真的是一点反省也没有，先来硬的，不行了又来软的，总之要达成目的。不要在蜡笔小新里做这种事好么
当你无力救人，舆论把你推入深渊。
不过想象力依旧是天马行空，最后大人责怪救了他们小新把蜡笔用完，而没画导弹的时候，还是很讽刺。
剧场的结局说明了日本制作者们仍然相信，时代再怎么更迭，蜡笔也不会被遗弃，来自孩子们的那份纯真，是大人不会有的，新时代的孩子们，不要被电子产品所束缚，尽情的挥洒脑海中的创意，小孩子才是最有创意的艺术家。

作为蜡笔小新系列动画重要道具的蜡笔终于在三十周年剧场版中登场。

无厘头的正能量，依然是日本积极强调的团队精神。内裤小子可以说是故事主线的引领人，哑巴娜娜子像是爱着小心的阿忍。
