During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 铺垫的太厚实了，桑德拉的演技日臻完美炉火纯青，飞跃到人生的一个巅峰。竟有点科恩嫂的凌厉。正好把导演的细节演绎的恰到好处，最后那一个拥抱，参透了所有怀疑故事拖沓繁琐的误解，真情无憾，辗转人间……
4星给这个曼彻斯特一般绝望又透着一丝光的故事，+1星给桑姨。
铺垫的太厚实了，桑德拉的演技日臻完美炉火纯青，飞跃到人生的一个巅峰。竟有点科恩嫂的凌厉。正好把导演的细节演绎的恰到好处，最后那一个拥抱，参透了所有怀疑故事拖沓繁琐的误解，真情无憾，辗转人间……
不过导演对于情绪的控制力还是可以的。
女主的戏非常稳，救赎自我与他人的挣扎。没有故意煽情，就是完整扎实地讲完了一个故事。
真相的揭露有点生硬，有些角色的设置必要性不大浪费卡司（yeah我说的就是Viola）。亲情、罪犯服刑期满后的艰难生活，要表达的糅合得不大好。Sandra演技还是好的。
有点像桑德拉布鲁克的独角戏，还算不错吧，说奥斯卡是不是过了
普通人的生活琐事，点点滴滴里透露出无奈心酸委屈与不服，拼凑在一起推动着剧情一波又一波的高潮。没把杀人推到小妹身上，为了她的未来自己独揽20年冤狱，这种牺牲自己掂量能不能做的来。女主刚毅果敢的性格从头贯穿到尾，认真工作，在暧昧男面前大胆承认坐牢，甚至为领养家女孩挡枪，为她赢来了所有人的尊重。爽剧的同时又很刷眼泪，难怪这么高分，小金人不给桑姐我不服啊。
还可以，类似于nomad的叙事风格，但是铺垫过长，结尾太仓促，结尾he让人喜欢不起来，如果男的把那家人的女儿杀了，也许会更精彩。世间炎凉拍的很好
788 1.5岁小女孩的武德也太充沛了，猎枪很重的。 2.美国人对cop Killer真就这么狠啊，还是说黑人除外。即使没有顶罪这个情节，是不是也过分了点。 3.说好的一个“人人长着张不被欺负的脸”的国度…… 三星半
旧的怨恨难以消解，新的仇恨因此衍生，失去亲人的他选择夺取她亲人的性命来报仇雪恨……谅解两个字看似简单，但要做到却时常并非易事
女主的对于见到妹妹的偏执型动机没有很好的交代，导致其替妹顶罪所饱含的爱妹心切显得别拗。
Sandra B 二十年前的造型也太可怕了 boring
前面看着很像《暗黑之地》的风格 但渐入佳境 小仓库里特别害怕Steve一枪崩掉Ruth 那可就彻头彻尾BE了 小妹妹吃蛋糕背对姐姐被抓那组镜头 孩子有魔鬼一样的感觉 妹妹的两段钢琴插入的也恰好有氛围 结尾妹妹走向姐姐 的确催泪
主角都是出狱后不被社会接受的罪犯 这部比《美好的世界》观感好 但着重点不太一样 各有长短
虽然上次看Sandra Bullock还是《Birdbox》，本片赞！
警察儿子复仇的线逻辑感弱了些；给小妹妹顶包乍一看逻辑感也偏弱，不过转念一想姐姐真是深爱着妹妹，是不愿让妹妹一生都顶着杀警察的恶名……好片子
SB的毁容之作，居然连提名都没有，这都评的啥啊。
都说桑德拉在本片中演得很隐忍很丧很刚，我倒觉得最后跟妹妹的重逢多多少少要流下一两滴眼泪吧？再怎么刚的女子在情感迸发处也是会流眼泪的。
没办法错过演技爆裂的Sandar Bullock，题材的话现实又残酷。
