中国传统家庭中成长的矛盾和与父母的冲突为主题，内涵简单，但是故事精彩纷呈。红色小熊猫的形象更是可爱喜人，每一个动作都透露着青春期女孩的可爱，更何况歌舞俱佳，美术一流，《心灵奇旅》之后最好看的迪士尼动画（03/13 晚上看完，03/14 晚上又在朋友家二刷） @Disney+

拍得太好了！成长就像野兽，多好的隐喻啊。喜欢最后的设计，展现出了一个妈妈毁灭般的掌控欲，而美美也喊出了：我就喜欢男孩！我喜欢响亮的音乐！我喜欢扭动身体！实在过瘾。成长是个大麻烦，但我们总要面对。最后妈妈也终于明白：“你走的越远，我只会越骄傲。”
家庭元素满满
标准的好莱坞工业动画，说明皮克斯近几年在走下坡路。套用中国传统家庭矛盾的外壳，内在仍是老美传统家庭保留节目——“be yourself”。但所谓的“自我认同”只是一个假象，因为其来源是身边同龄人的对宠物般的喜爱，所以伴随主角成长自然产生的爱欲却无疾而终。这种友谊大于亲情的价值观优越感让人感到不适。从设定上来说，送走小熊猫的仪式可以多次反复进行，而保留小熊猫的技能则不需要付出任何代价，所以最后主角的选择显得不痛不痒。不过，片中以流行音乐演唱会作为中国道教仪式的施法吟唱，也算是欧美文化的强势输出了。
刻板印象严重。既然已经是2022年了，就不要拿上一代的父母来做文章了吧？

小熊猫的毛发做得太好了，购买量产玩具一定会有心理落差。
《包宝宝》衍生版，女孩的成长烦恼，原片名很棒。比起毛茸茸的红熊猫，对非现实毛绒动物免疫的崽，蜜汁注意力在好像没什么人关注的紫色背带裤女孩身上，也不知道有没有看懂这个勇敢的故事
