The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 跟《北欧人》差不多是一根藤上两朵花，但是《北欧人》灭嗨，所以显得高级一点，三哥容易嗨过头，就比较逗乐。

特效比不上好莱坞，但在想法上更胜一筹，呈现效果反倒更好。故事前篇的舞蹈编排也很优秀。最大的问题其实是量大过撑，中部故事疲软。后期的人型高达又开始让故事走向燃点。
