The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 不明白评分为什么这么低。有时候看电影并不是要看什么大场景。静静的看一个理想故事不好吗？
其实节奏还是不错的，只不过大团圆结局的是建立在死者也是富家女，并且爹肯为了她不惜一切代价，不然主角再努力，结局走向也不可能是抓到真凶
所以影片的主旨是确实有什么凌驾于法律之上，比如财富。被害人的父亲如果不是大亨，真凶就能逍遥法外？
剧情中规中矩，基本合理，就是太平铺直叙了一点。
方中信还是很帅阿，冷静又沉着。

廖启智的遗作，可惜了最终仍以钱权揭示真相的荒诞。看前一半的时候，有一种古早港片的味道，直到最后方中信聆讯时强行拔高立意的发言简直太当今太2021了。

悬念太少，结尾太顺，证人证言都是钱买的，正义公道也只是碰巧吧
只能说新一代的港片编剧同新一代的香港演员一样青黄不接、乏善可陈，全剧都靠着老戏骨的支撑。
唯一就是船上那场爆发的戏到位了。

虽然时局日坚，理想还是要有的，且要有实现理想的勇谋
方中信扮演的雷有辉律师，人性上面的转变缺乏实际的说服力；而爱民党两父子的倒台，从某些方面来说，更像是“金钱”的胜利而非正义的胜利，所以，这也是编剧的失败。
