The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 比较老套路的冒险喜剧片，不能算是动作片，动作场面比较少而且也没啥亮点，倒是桑婆和查老板打嘴炮的时间得占了全片的一半，但是也是比较无聊乏味，比较惊喜的算是皮特叔的客串，但是戏份太少，没有啥发挥空间的就挂了。特效视觉效果上做的还不错，要能在影院看的话可能效果会更好，只可惜应该还是没有任何动静，可能是没了。整体来说，剧情无趣，完全靠两位主角撑起来的，看完印象深刻的点就只有查老板的性感翘臀了。。
全片插科打诨，嬉皮笑脸。创作者努力想把这部电影打造成一个通俗易懂的商品，格局一降再降导致严重失形。企图做成一包“薯片”和一瓶“可乐”时，难免会变成一件非常平凡的商品，若想要最大化吸引大众目光至少质量上要过关，从上而下的打造，而不是直接切入低层。逻辑混乱，注水严重，内容被不断涌现的“笑点”稀释。整体上的结构非常像经典网文模式，运用“反差”，“差距”来营造强刺激的戏剧感。
除了钱老板被吸血的屁股【确实会被屏幕外的txl无限吸血】，不知道这部影片还有什么看点？探险就像儿戏，吐槽都不到位，只能用爱情来解释奇观，到底嗨个什么劲。
皮特这酱油打的，结尾彩蛋很有意思。ending song “big energy” by Latto
1984年有部同样题材的电影，绿宝石，由迈克尔道格拉斯和凯瑟琳特纳主演，导演是罗伯特泽米基斯，与本片相比这部电影就好看多了。
桑婆婆和pitt都太老了，这种养眼的片子浪费大牌的演技
